AI-generatedMike Hernandez
General Contractor · Austin, TX
AI Summary
Mike Hernandez is highly regarded across all three references for craftsmanship quality, daily communication, and reliable subcontractor management. Two clients would hire him again without hesitation. One notes a modest budget overrun tied to material costs — flagged transparently mid-project rather than buried in the final bill.
Positives
- Finished two weeks ahead of schedule on a $29k bathroom reno
- Zero punch-list items on a large two-room home addition
- Vetted subs — electrical and plumbing matched GC quality
- Communicates progress daily; site cleaned every evening
Red Flags
- Ran 8% over initial estimate due to mid-project lumber price increase
- Books up 2-3 months out — schedule early or risk delays
“His work is genuinely good — just build a contingency into your budget.”
— David K., past client
